Anger

Anger is

but one

letter away

from

danger.

The same

person will

become

angry

again.

Anger is a fear of the unknown.

Anger, like many other negative feelings can be used to hide many other true emotions.

Grown men don't cry, they rage.

Little ladies scream and yell, then they cry.

Frustration, fear of failure, lack of control, low self esteem,

and often just plain stupidity will excite a sick person into an angry rage.

Stupid is not having the ability to learn.

Ignorant is not yet having learned.

Anger is not willing to learn.

Anger has yet to win a war.

Anger has yet to win an argument.

Anger has yet to win a friend.

Anger is a bad feeling, a negative emotion and a nasty habit that is not healthy

and if you are angry it is suggested that you change your attitude, quickly.

Anger is bad acting used to hide true feelings and emotions.

Change is a process not an event.

If we follow directions, life is simple.

Feel the feeling, learn why we are having the feeling, discuss the feeling

with another human being  ( pets and your favorite toy are not human),

and learn how to express your concerns in a civil manner.

Everyone has a right to be angry from time to time,

but it is not necessary to display, through bad acting,

that you do not know how to cope with life.

If you are angry because of things you are really stupid or ignorant, or both.

Things are things and they can usually be replaced.

Things break and sometimes they can be fixed, sometimes

they can't be fixed or they aren't worth trying to fix.

Do not get angry, get a second opinion.

Becoming angry because the car will not start, the faucet leaks,

the door will not close, the neighbor ran over the mailbox again,

is a waste of time and a serious waste of good emotions.

Becoming upset or angry with others is a concern that can

and must be changed.

The children and spouse do not do what you want them to because

they are people and they have a right to do what they want to.

They probably don't want to be with you because you are mean

and nasty and at any given moment you may go into a rage

for who knows what reason, real or imagined.

You own things, you do not own people.

Change yourself, you cannot change other people.

Change is about learning to make better choices.

If you are pleasant, nice, willing to learn, have patience

and tolerance, you are forgiving, and you can laugh, you will be surprised

by how people will be willing to do what you want them to do,

and they just can't be around you enough to share the good times.

"It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh
at the same time.
Anger and laughter are mutually exclusive
and you have the power to choose either."
     ~  Wayne Dyer

Patience, and when all else fails, give it to your Higher Power.

Let go, and let God. If you can't, He can.

Still have to be in control, seek professional help.

Today, pray for the will of your Higher Power to have

the nicest person in the world be you.

Today, laugh at the silly mole hills of inconvenience in your life,

and do not let them grow into mountains of despair.

Today, know the difference between things and people, and

know that those people in your life are much more valuable

than any thing that you could ever own.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply,

speak kindly and trust in a Creator who loves you.

May your angry moment of today be because you do not have

enough to give to someone who needs it more than you do.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Take Notice

We do not own ourselves,

we belong to the Universe.

No one planned to come into existence.

Life is a gift to us and life dwells inside

every cell of our being.

We must learn not to take ourselves

so seriously.

We must learn to protect life

and try to make this world

a better place for all.

To take notice is to become aware, it does not mean that we have to understand.

Why did life came into existence and why are we such an infinitesimal speck compared

to the whole of the Universe are questions whose answers only the Great Creator

knows and understands.

What we need to take notice of is the here and now and

to believe that we are doing the best we can to enjoy this life.

Learn how to, practice how to, share and know unconditional love.

The here and now is seeing, hearing, reading, listening

and doing whatever is necessary to learn how to better enjoy this life.

Emulate the winners, the happy and the content, and do not

follow the example of the negative naysayer.

The here and now is learning to share the happiness

and joy that comes from living a life which obeys the will of a Higher Power.

"True happiness is to enjoy the present,
without anxious dependence upon the future,
not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears
but to rest satisfied with what we have,
which is sufficient,
for he that is so wants nothing.
The great blessings of mankind are within us
and within our reach.
A wise man is content with his lot,
whatever it may be,
without wishing for what he has not."  ~
Seneca

Take notice that we no longer dwell in the Garden of Eden.

Take notice that we do not live in a dream world.

Take notice that you need to breathe, eat and do what is necessary to continue living.

The most important thing that we can be aware of is that

we can enjoy and have delight in doing what is necessary.

As with all things in our life we must take notice when it is necessary to change.

It may not be Eden, but where you dwell must be safe.

It may not be a dream world, but it should be a place where you are allowed

to have dreams.

Having the necessities of life should not be a worry or a problem that is caused by others.

Take notice that you may have to change the people, places and things in

your life if they are preventing you from living a life that is happy, joyous and free.

Love is not a reason to live or die, love is a necessity that keeps us alive.

Love is being with the right people, at the right place, at the right time.

Do what is necessary to improve your life.

Make a gratitude list.

Pray for guidance.

Change what you can.

"Yes, there is a Nirvanah;
it is leading your sheep to a green pasture,
and in putting your child to sleep,
and in writing the last line of your poem."
~  Kahlil Gibran

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
